Armed officers intercept a taxi in Moseley following reports of passengers with a firearm.

Armed officers were dispatched to Alcester Road in Moseley, at around 7:30PM on Tuesday (16/05), following reports passengers in a taxi may have been possession of a firearm.

 
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police, “Armed officers intercepted a taxi after West Midlands Police received intelligence the passengers may be in possession of a firearm.
 
Two women aged 18 and 21, plus a 25-year-old man, were taken from the vehicle and spoken to while the car was searched. No firearms were found in the car and the three were allowed to go on their way.”
