On Thursday 12th July you are welcomed to The Vox Conference Centre at Resorts World to join celebrations in honour of the NHS. The event will be great for those who are passionate about the service and wish to know more about how it operates within the local area too.

You will get your chance to ask those all-important questions and learn more about the newly formed NHS Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

The agenda goes as follows:

5pm – 6pm – Health Fair and Refreshments

A chance to learn more about the work of the local NHS, all whilst enjoying a light tea.

6pm – 7pm – Our Future CCG

Join Chief Executive Paul Jennings, Chair Dr Peter Ingham, and the executive team for an interactive presentation about the future of the local NHS and what it means for the community. During this time a live Q&A will be hosted and attendees are welcome to post their questions to @BhamUpdates using #launchevent on the day with a handful being chosen to put to those in the know.

Paul Jennings, says: We’re the largest NHS CCG in England and look after the health services that you, and 1.3 million other local people use, across Birmingham and Solihull. We’d love you to join us on Thursday 12 July, to hear more about what we do, tell us about your ideas and get involved. We’re also taking the opportunity to celebrate the NHS’ 70th birthday, so if you love the NHS, this is even more reason to come along.

This highly informative, yet fun event is a chance to learn more about a service that is very dear to us all, so make sure you attend and take part!

Car parking is free; please park in East 5 Car Park and validate your ticket before you leave.  The Vox is in easy reach of Birmingham International train station and on several bus routes.
