Homeless man found dead outside Lloyds Bank in the City Centre.

Emergency services were dispatched to Lloyds Bank on New Street, around 6AM this morning (01/05), to reports of man found unresponsive.

On arrival, crews found a man, aged 22, on the pavement outside the bank. He was sadly confirmed dead on the scene.

A member of the public who witnesses the arrival of the emergency services, said: “An area outside of Lloyd’s Bank on New Street cordoned off after homeless man found unresponsive outside the entrance.”

A spokesperson from West Midlands Police, said: “A 22-year-old man was confirmed dead at the scene but police are not treating his death as suspicious and the matter will be referred to the coroner.”
