Earth Hour is taking place between 8.30pm-9.30pm on Saturday 30th March. The world-wide push is designed to get individuals and businesses thinking about the pressures they are putting on the world around us, animals and the atmosphere.

The idea is to turn off all electronics during this period, in the name of nature. We urge you to get involved in this universally eye-opening event by having fun, whilst setting an amazing example! There are plenty of ways you can show your support for this amazing cause and they’re all quite simple.

Why not?:

  • Set up a candle-lit dinner for you & your beau.
  • Host a board game evening with friends.
  • Read a best-seller with the help of candle-light.
  • Go out star-gazing.
  • Exchange scary ghost stories.
  • Go camping for the night.
  • Host a bonfire and toast some marshmallows.
  • Have a wild onesie sleepover with friends.
  • Get some exercise, indoors or out.
  • Visit a relative you haven’t seen in a while.

The list is endless. There are thousands of ways to enjoy laughs with the lights out! You’ll be surprised how quickly the hour goes and you’ll feel a great sense of achievement, being part of a global campaign to help kick-start a more loving attitude towards our environment! Who knows? You may even decide to make a habit out of it!
