Police are appealing for information after a collision on Alum Rock Road last Thursday (28/09) which left a teenager with serious injuries.

Officers on patrol found the injured boy at the junction of Anthony Road, just before 9pm.

The boy, aged 15, was taken to hospital with significant facial injuries which require surgery.

PC Chris Brock, from West Midlands Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This investigation is in its early stages and we are trying to establish exactly what happened. I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision and hasn’t yet spoken to police to make contact.

“I would also appeal directly to the driver to do the right thing; come forward and speak to us now.”
