Loaded gun discovered in the toilet at House of Fraser in the city centre.

Birmingham Police has launched an investigation after a loaded gun was discovered, shortly before 7PM on Monday (02/01), in the toilets at House of Fraser department store on Corporation Street.

The gun was found concealed in a toilet roll holder in the male toilets. Officers are studying CCTV as part of their inquiry.

A spokesperson from House of Fraser, said: “We are currently working very closely with West Midlands Police supporting them with their investigation and cannot comment further at this stage.”
