Man has sadly died after being struck by a train at Solihull Railway Station

Emergency services were dispatched to Solihull Railway Station, at around 7AM this morning (17/02), to reports of a person being struck by a train.

On arrival, crews discovered a man who had been struck by a train. He was sadly dead on the scene.

A spokesperson from British Transport Police, said: This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and officers are working to identify the man and inform his family. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
