Man pleads guilty to attempted murder of a father injured in a triple stabbing in Stourbridge.

Aaron Barley, aged 23, of no fixed abode, has pleaded guilty to the attempted murder of a father injured in a triple stabbing which left his wife and son dead in Stourbridge.

During the hearing at Birmingham Crown Court earlier today (03/05), he admitted trying to kill Peter Wilkinson at the family home on Thursday 30th March.

Barley entered no pleas to two charges of murder, relating to Mr Wilkinson’s wife, Tracey, and son Pierce who both died from stab wounds.

Mr Barley was remanded in custody and the case was adjourned until Wednesday 19th July.

A provisional trial date was set for Tuesday 3rd October.
