Man’s body recovered from a canal near Dudley Road in Winson Green.

Emergency services were called to Spring Hill Bridge on Dudley Road in Winson Green, at around 6AM this morning (14/06), following reports of body being found in the nearby canal.

A spokesperson from West Midlands Police, said: “Police were called just after 6am today by Waterways to reports of a body in a canal near Spring Hill Bridge, Winson Green.

A man was recovered from the canal. Enquiries to establish the identity of the man are on-going.”

Dudley Road has been cordoned off whilst investigation continues. Please call WMP on 101 if you have ANY information.
