Officers investigating car-jackings release new CCTV in fresh appeal

In December, West Midlands Police released a number of appeals in relation to car-jackings across Birmingham. Two men were arrested and are currently on bail.

Officers have since recovered two of the stolen vehicles; a Ford Kuga from Pentos Drive in Sparkhill and a grey coloured Ford Focus from Overton Close in Hall Green.

The cars had false number plates and were used to steal petrol from the Shell Garage, Stockfield Road on numerous occasions.

A third car, a silver Ford Focus VK11 GPO, was also captured making off without payment from the garage and failed to stop for officers the following day. This car has not been found.

Officers have secured these CCTV images from the garage and detectives strongly believe these men are connected to the car-jacking offences.

Do you know who they are? Do you know the whereabouts of the silver Ford Focus?

Please contact the High Harm and Vulnerability team at Stechford police station by calling 101 ext 844 3071.  Alternatively email Detective Constable Lawrence Shannon at l.shannon@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk
