Shooters bar on Broad Street to host BAMMA live public weigh ins.

BAMMA returns to The Genting Arena on Friday 12th May, but before the powerful extravaganza of full bloodied fighting, fans will have a chance to get a preview look at the fighters at Shooters in the Bierkeller Entertainment Complex on the afternoon of Thursday 11th May at 2PM.

BAMMA 29 promoters are promising “a powerful extravaganza of full-bloodied fighting” at the arena, and the excitement will start to build at the weigh-in which will be watched live by thousands of followers on social media on UNILAD Facebook page.

Two world title fights top an action-packed card headlined by heavyweights – UK’s Brett ‘The Spartan’ McDermott and Germany’s Ruben ‘The Viking’ Wolf.

But it’s Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers who’s been grabbing all the media attention in the run-up to the night. Chalmers has been sharing his grueling training sessions with more than two million followers on Instagram and he means business ahead of the fight, promising to put his heart and soul into it.

“My opponent is just a stepping stone that I will stamp on and continue my journey onwards,” he claimed, vowing to party hard once he wins in the lightweight division against fellow pro first-timer, Scouser Greg Jenkins.

Isaac Mayne, head of marketing and promotions for Bierkeller Entertainment Complex, said the bar on Broad Street was excited to be hosting the weigh-in. “This is one of the world’s most exciting sports and the atmosphere at these BAMMA promotions is incredible,” he added. “Shooters is the place fans will be coming to watch all the action live on our big screen on Friday night so we’re thrilled to be able to play a part in the build-up.”

BAMMA CEO, David Green, “We are delighted to be bringing our BAMMA 29 Live Public Weigh ins to Shooters Sports Bar, with an atmosphere second to none, it was the perfect place to hold our BAMMA 29 public weigh ins”

Tickets for BAMMA 29: McDermott Vs. Wolf are on sale at bamma.com, and Ticketfactory.com, with tickets ranging from £35 to £125.
