Stratford Road cordoned off after a man suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Police have launched an investigation after a man, aged 22, suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder on Braithwaite Road, Sparkhill at around 11.30pm on Thursday night (18/05).

Three men aged 25, 21 and 20 have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Stratford Road at the junction of Bordesley Middleway and Braithwaite Road remains cordoned off this morning while forensic investigators carried out an examination.
