Teenager stabbed outside Bournville College in Longbridge.

Emergency services were dispatched to the area outside Bournville College, at around 2:50PM on Wednesday afternoon (05/10), to reports of an incident.

On arrival, crews found a student of the college, aged 18, with a stab wound. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A cordon was put in place whilst officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A spokesperson from Bournville College, said: “Bournville College is aware of an incident that took place outside of the building on Wednesday afternoon which resulted in a student being treated in hospital.

We take the safety of our students very seriously and can confirm that the college has followed security procedures and is working closely with the police in the matter.”

No arrests have been made and officers are appealing for witnesses to contact them if they have have any information that may help the ongoing investigation.
