As the evenings get longer and the weather gets warmer we’ll be looking for summer nights in the city, enjoying the heat and a few relaxing tipples thrown in. All the more pleasant if we can take our furry companion with us for a spot of fresh air.

Here are some doggie-friendly pubs for you to try:

The Botanist

Placed on Temple Street The Botanist is one of the best pubs in the city to take your four-legged friend. Feel at one with nature slap-bang in the centre, thanks to their earthy setting. The patio is the perfect place for pooches to sit and watch the world go by whilst you can kick back and enjoy some tasty cocktails.

The British Oak

Based in Birmingham’s up and coming area, Stirchley. The British Oak is a lovely neighbourhood pub where dogs have a safe garden to roam around in. The patio and green areas are massively spacious, where your best pal is likely to receive a whole load of fuss from the friendly locals and bar staff.

The Canal House

You’ll be hard pushed to find a watering hole as picturesque as The Canal House. The pub set on Birmingham’s water works is a lovely setting for customers and canines to enjoy an enormous dose of crisp air. Great for their health and yours!  The beautiful surroundings will entice you to spend a good few hours enjoying some quality time with your favourite!

The Prince of Wales

This Moseley based boozer has a lot going on, especially at weekends. You don’t have to miss out on their amazing tiki bar, wine shed and cigar hut, even if you do have a furry friend to tend to, you are more than welcome to bring them along and let them join in the fun. Their large garden is accommodating for doggies of all shapes and sizes!

The Canal House and The Botanist both offer deals in conjunction with the My Bull keyring. Click here to find out more.
