Thought you’d never go to a rave again after having kids? Think again!
After two sell-out events, the Big Fish Little Fish crew will be returning to Quantum in Digbeth on March 18th, bringing an ‘Animal Fantastical’ themed family rave (fancy dress optional and encouraged).
Their raves are designed to be as much enjoyment for adults as they are for children. The rave is a guaranteed afternoon of fun within a social, creative and anarchic environment.
On the decks will be DMC World Mixing champion, Hacienda resident, and record producer – DJ Chad Jackson. Best known for his hit single “Hear the Drummer (Get Wicked)”. He’ll be getting the party started with club visuals, glitter cannons, bubbles and giant bouncy balloons.
BFLF sets the volume lower than at normal nightclubs. While it is still loud, it’s within the safety limits as set out by the World Health Organisation – and it is monitored throughout the event. It’s up to you if you want to bring ear defenders, although most parents don’t. However, if your child is particularly sensitive to noise or if you want them to nap during the event you might want to consider it.
The children can get busy in the craft area and indulge in their artistic skills or head over to the baby safe space with soft mats, ball pool and inflatables. There will be a toddler play-area with tents and tunnels. Free glow sticks and transfer tattoos will also be available, as well as a face painting stand!
Don’t worry parents, there will be a licensed bar, as well as a cakes and savouries stall, of course.
All ages welcome but aimed at families with 0-8-year-olds. Parents remain responsible for their children at all times.
Sounds like fun? Get your tickets here!
