Motorcyclist sadly dies following a collision at the Jaguar Land Rover factory plant in Solihull

Sergeant Alan Wood, from the West Midlands Police collision investigation unit, is appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic collision in Solihull on Monday (26/09).

Emergency services were called to the Jaguar Land Rover factory plant on Damson Lane  at around 4:40PM, to reports of a collision.

On arrival, crews found a motorcyclist, aged 23, who had been in collision with a manufacturing tractor unit and trailer on a private road situated at the plant.

The motorcyclist, a man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Sergeant Wood, said: “Investigations are on-going into the collision and we will be working with our colleagues at the Health and Safety Executive to establish what happened.
