Emergency services were dispatched to Long Nuke Road in Northfield, at around 3.10PM, to reports of a man being stabbed.
On arrival, crews found the man, believed to aged in his 30s, with multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he remains this evening.
Police have cordoned off the area whilst they investigate the incident and conduct house to house enquiries.
A man, aged 17, has been arrested and taken into police custody for questioning.
