Emergency services were called to Raddlebarn Road in Selly Oak, at around 6:40PM, to reports of a man being stabbed.
On arrival, crews found a man, believed to be aged 21, was found with multiple stab wounds and rushed to hospital where he remains.
Officers have cordoned off the road whilst they conduct a scene investigation to established the circumstances surrounding the incident.
