Teenager taken to hospital with a stab wound following an incident in Northfield.

Emergency Services were dispatched to Whychall Road, near Popes Lane, in Northfield, at around 2:30PM on Wednesday afternoon (18/01), after reports of an incident near the shops.

On arrival, crews found a boy, aged 17, with a stab wound to his back. He was taken to hospital for treatment – his condition is not described as life threatening.

A spokesperson from West Midlands Police, said: The 17-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment to a small puncture wound to his lower back.

Enquires are ongoing to trace the people/person involved in the incident.”
