Five Ways MyBull Can Help You Keep Warm This Week

-

It’s Monday, the clocks have just gone back and it’s flipping freezing outside. I don’t know about you, but I certainly didn’t expect to have to scrape the ice off my car window this morning. After leaving the house with two extra layers on, it got me thinking about what I could do to warm myself up this week. That’s why I’ve carefully selected five venues which are certain to make you forget about the cold weather. Each location has partnered up with the MyBull keyring combining fun experiences with epic discounts; we saved a total of £52.50!

Here’s where you should head this week:

1. Karaoke Box – 2 hours for the price of one

There’s no better way to get the good vibes flowing than enjoying a Karaoke night with your mates. Karaoke Box Birmingham offers private karaoke rooms of varying capacities, which are outfitted with plenty of attractive features: flat screen TVs, leather seating, surround sound, wireless microphones so you can shake your booty while you sing, and easy-to-use touchscreen monitors with 10,000 + songs searchable by title or artist. Waitress service is available when you just can’t pry yourself away from the microphone.

2. Loki Wine- 10% off top-ups

Get that warm, fuzzy feeling after a few glasses of wine at Loki. This modern approach makes us perfect for a lunch meeting, an after-work drink with friends or for a romantic date. Or simply as a great way to increase your wine knowledge. It is the only fine wine merchant in the business district of Birmingham, and one of the only places to offer customers the experience of trying up to 40 wines by the glass at any one time. Loki is the most awarded wine merchant in Birmingham, winning 11 major national awards in the past three years.

Named after the Norse god who delighted in causing as much mischief as possible for the other gods, Loki shares that same anti-establishment ethos. They believe wine should be fun, not stuffy; that wine should offer outstanding value for everyone; and that the customer should be able to taste before buying that perfect bottle.

With a Loki Wine Tasting Card, you have the opportunity to taste a frequently updated selection of fine, boutique and award-winning wines from the range. Just choose from whatever’s sampling on their specially imported wine preservation machines for as little as 69p per glass. And when you’ve found exactly what you’re looking for, you can either buy to enjoy at home or drink in and relax in the tasting room, perhaps sharing a plate of cold meats or cheeses to go with your wine.

You can also buy wine from the wine shop where they have a range of over 600 fine wines and spirits specially selected to give you a unique range to explore, from everyday drinking wines through to some of the most famous producers in the world.

All through your experience, you’ll be guided by one of the wine experts, who can help you find exactly what you fancy that day – for lunch or evening, for business or pleasure.

5. The Floating Spa – Your first experience for £40

And finally, kick back and relax at Birmingham’s first floatation spa offering Floatation Therapy also known as Restricted Environmental Stimulus Therapy (R.E.S.T). Enjoy the benefits of floating weightlessly, supported perfectly and free from the sensation of gravity. You float in a buoyant solution of salt-rich water, provided by creating a supersaturated mixture of Epsom salt and water. The salt-water solution is heated to skin temperature so once you are settled, it is almost impossible to tell which parts of your body are in the water and which aren’t. Eventually, you achieve the sensation that you’re floating in mid-air!

This is all done within the revolutionary i-sopod float tank. You are in complete control of your own experience, choosing the lighting conditions and whether to close the tank door or not.

With earplugs in and (if you choose) the tank’s interior lights switched off, the lack of external influences will allow your mind to drift into a deep state of relaxation.

Floatation removes external stimuli from the body, allowing you to enter deeper states of relaxation and stimulates the release of endorphins in the brain, decreasing the perception of pain.

The benefits of Floatation are not only quite astounding but also wide-ranging. Some are immediate during your float, some may be more noticeable after the actual Floatation session, and others may require a cumulative effect to really see and feel the difference.
