With half-term coming up it can be easy to focus on what activities will entertain the kiddie-winks over the up-coming weeks. However we believe us adults need a little excitement in our lives too! Ghetto Golf
One for the cool kids. Ghetto Golf is a sensory assault, we want to play with it all! These guys, based in the Custard Factory do what they do, incredibly well. Once you have marvelled at the outrageous décor, let the fun and games begin, take it in turns to master your crazy golf skills. Warning! It gets competitive so relax, take your time and enjoy one of their many quirky cocktails. Nuthin’ But a G Ting is recommended – Gin, Midori, Passion fruit syrup, lemon juice and Ting. YES!

Rush After Dark
Since its opening Rush have enjoyed the rush! This place seems to never empty and has had their activities confidently approved by the kiddies of our region. Yet, adults don’t have to miss out on the action. Rush open their trampoline park to teens and adults on Saturday’s at 8.30pm (from 24th February) for a disco, UV lighting and a spot of extreme Dodge Ball.

Escape Live
Great for mates, Escape Live puts team work to the test. You will find yourself locked in a room with 60 minutes to bust your way out searching for clues and puzzles in order to beat the clock. This is definitely something different to try on a dull day. Not for the faint-hearted we must admit. Hugely intense!

Tilt
Slap bang in the centre, Tilt is easy to locate and a great alternative way to spend a day. Craft beer, quality coffee and pinball are their specialities so it’s a great suit for whatever your needs. Over 2 floors lie 13 pinball machines, including Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Ghost Buster specials. It’s wise to clear your day if you fancy a visit, as it can get quite additive!

If you fancy yourself as quite the thrill seeker Vortex at Resorts World is a must! As the UK’s first for virtual reality gaming for all ages it is a sight to behold. On offer is the newest technology combined with some of the best retro games that all big kids will remember. Think Mario Cart and Space Invaders! This will definitely take you back some years!
