Shirley Beer and Cider Festival kicks off tomorrow evening (11/05), warmly welcoming fans of quality ales to enjoy a host of entertainment across the weekend. All the fun taking place at Camp Hill RFC, off Haslucks Green Road.

Friday is a quiet one, a great spot after work. They’ll be plenty food stalls offering a selection of dishes, perfect if you don’t fancy popping home before treating yourself to a few beers. On Saturday the festival re-opens at 12pm with food, music and children’s entertainment into the evening. An awesome family day out.

This is the 8th festival of its kind and they are sure getting good at what they do! Over 100 beers will be ready and waiting this year, including: Chocolate Porters, Chuckleberry Wheat Beer and Ginger Ales, along with 25 ciders with flavours such as: Mango, Tutti Frutti & Rum & Raisin available. A great way to try a host of different beverages and possibly find a new favourite. An absolute this must this weekend!
