Rebel Chicken is a buzzing new chicken restaurant set to open early next month (01/06). They’ll be welcoming a host of excited new customers to their Pitsford Street site with an absolutely feast of quality food and entertainment promised for all those meat fiends out there and we know that’s a few of you!

The guys are offering only the highest grade of chicken, sourced locally, and nursed ever so tenderly over a  combined mix of charcoal straight from Cuba and sweet cherry wood logs. Promising a beautiful BBQ flavour reminiscent of the deep south. Rebel Chicken are passionate about their birds and this truly shines in their menu.

The idea is gourmet style fast food, which we’re all crying out for, right? Choose from a quarter, half or full – marinated, steamed and finished on the spit, or opt for a deliciously fresh wrap, Caesar salad or wings. Still boasting their succulent meat as star of the show. There is a veggie option for those who like to behave.

Aside from their mission to serve the people of Birmingham chicken they simply can’t get anywhere else. Rebel are just as serious about providing the most chilled of places to hang out, serving cocktails, wines, craft beers and spirits straight from their bar, to be enjoyed in their insanely huge beer garden, looking to house 120 patrons – a rarity in the city.

Talking of beer, the guys will be stocking Vice Magazine’s Old Blue Last. Pale, clean, a little sour, a little salty. Definitely a unique one to try!  Along with the variety of cocktails, including classics, such as: the Negroni, a Dark & Stormy and a cheeky Bloody Mary, one to enjoy with their delicious roasts on a Sunday afternoon. Ultimate hangover cure.

If you just can’t wait any longer, it all kicks off with a soft launch this beginning Friday (25/05) and finishing up Sunday (27/05) where the guys will be experimenting with flavours. All ready for the official opening on  Friday 1st  June. Everyone’s welcome to enjoy the new tastes at a Funkin’ Good Time with Sam Redmore from 5pm – 1am. Saturday 2nd welcomes The Free Disco Collective from 7pm- 1am and Sunday 3rd sees the doors open at noon for Rum, Reggae and Roasts. What a way to wind down the weekend?

Regular events spread across the inside and through to their garden space with DJs and live entertainment serving up the perfect back-drop as you chow-down on that oh-so tasty chicken. Plans are closely under wraps for now but more information on the wild parties these guys will be putting on is soon to come.
