A huge haul of almost 1,800 counterfeit goods including football shirts and fake brand named handbags have been recovered by police in Witton.
Officers discovered the massive stash of illegal items worth an estimated £30,000 from an address in Village Road last week.
The fake goods included international football shirts, Gucci bags and clothing, Ralph Lauren and Fred Perry t-shirts and Louis Vuitton bags.
A 45 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of fraud and has been released under investigation.
PC Matt Attwell, from West Midlands Police Force CID, said: “This was a huge haul of counterfeit goods which could easily have been mistaken as genuine.
“We regularly work with partners to suffocate and tackle the market of fake goods.
“Counterfeit goods not only dupe buyers but can have a huge impact on legitimate traders and brands.”
