Super store Sainsbury’s are next to join the festive bandwagon with novelty flavours of tea. Wonderful, as that may sound… all is not what it seems! The supermarket has introduced Pigs in Blankets and Brussel Sprout flavoured tea bags.

On firsts thought, these savoury tastes may seem a little too extreme for those wanting a nice, warming cuppa when winter hits. However, on closer inspection they may not be as gruesome as one may think!

The Pig in Blankets Tea is pumped full of Sage and Rosemary notes and the Sprouts version is a combination of veggie flavours, so not quite what we were expecting! And with a price point of £1 for 20 bags, surely they are worth checking out, through sheer curiosity alone!

Will you be brave enough to taste test this tea?
