A Birmingham charity shop is appealing for donations after thieves broke into their storage unit stealing stock and damaging the units door in the process.
Thieves broke into the unit owned by Cats Protection in Maypole on Tuesday 4 December taking with them an estimated £500 worth of stock as well as shelving.
Regional Retail Manager, Pamela Dean, said: “We were devastated to find that someone had broken into our storage facility. The shop is still open as usual and any donations to help replenish the stock would be greatly appreciated. I want to thank our loyal team of volunteers, staff and members of the public who have provided support following this shocking event.”
The shop is now appealing for donations of good quality ladies and men’s clothing to help replenish the stock.

The charity shop is located on 943 Alcester Road South, Maypole, B14 5JA and is open 9am – 5pm Monday-Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.
