Resorts World will mark Mental Health Awareness Week with an entire month of Feel Good, with help from Yoga Sweat and LoveBrum.
A special line-up of yoga classes will feature at the complex as part of the month dedicated to mindfulness; with all proceeds going to LoveBrum – a Birmingham based charity.
Yoga Sweat will host eight yoga classes as part of Resort World’s Feel Good Weekender on Saturday 18th May and Sunday 19th May. A variety of styles will be explored across the weekend inside an amazing ‘Zen Zone’. Each class is just £5, with all proceeds going to LoveBrum who are supporting local mental health causes during May.
The ‘Zen Zone’ has been designed, not only for these fantastic yoga classes but for all guests and staff at Resorts World; providing a relaxing place where you’re able to sit back and enjoy a few sacred moments of peace and quiet.
The space, just opposite New Balance, will become a lowly lit haven designed to inspire relaxation. The ‘Zen Zone’ complete with Luna pod, bean bags, free green tea from Holland & Barrett and editions of The Happy News for guests to enjoy. Over 16s can visit the calming quiet zone between Wednesday 15th – Sunday 19th May.
The popular Tuk Cakes pop-up, created by Channel 4’s Great British Bake Off finalist, Darryl Collins, will return to sell smiley chocolate bon-bons for the Feel Good Weekender too. All in addition to some wonderful feel good framed prints. Again, with all proceeds going to LoveBrum.
For that extra feel-good factor and to celebrate the release of the Elton John biopic Rocketman at Cineworld, Resorts World will be joined by an Elton doppelganger singing all of his greatest hits live at his piano in the Atrium at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm on Saturday 18th, alongside a full line-up of live entertainment across the weekend.
