Trio of top local chefs team up for a glorious guest dinner at Resorts World

-

Three top Solihull chefs are teaming up for an exclusive guest dinner on Sunday 29th September, up at Sky By The Water, Resorts World’s rooftop bar and restaurant.

The event will see Rob Palmer, Head Chef of Michelin starred Peel’s Restaurant at Hampton Manor, along with Aaron Darnley and Darryl Collins, Head Chef and Pastry Chef respectively, at Resorts World’s Sky By The Water, come together to create a Sunday dinner with a difference.

Guests will be treated to a unique six course tasting menu, celebrating the best autumnal produce. Palmer and Darnley will team up on a duo of starters and main courses, including a cured salmon and crab starter and a warming duck ragu with blackcurrant for main. Desserts and petit fours will follow from Collins, former Channel 4 Bake Off: The Professionals finalist, featuring a double chocolate bomb of blood orange, caramel, and dark chocolate with an Oreo crumble.

Head Chef, Aaron Darnley, says of the collaboration:

“As two top local destinations on Birmingham’s ever-growing gastronomic map, we wanted to get together to showcase all that’s good about the local culinary scene right now. We’ll have spectacular cooking from three chefs at the top of their game, from two celebrated foodie destinations outside of the city centre bubble.”

This guest dinner follows a special Afternoon Tea hosted by Darryl Collins at Hampton Manor earlier on in July. Guests were treated to Collins’ showstopping desserts and patisserie, alongside savoury items from Palmer and his team at Hampton Manor.

Places are £65 per person for this special dinner complete with a welcome drink, with limited spaces available. Seats at the table can be booked via meet@resortsworldbirmingham.co.uk or by calling 0121 273 1000.
