The countdown is on as the Simplyhealth Great Birmingham Run returns to Birmingham on Sunday 13th October.

Whether it is raising money for charity, a personal goal or just for fun, there’s still time to join the thousands of runners that enter the UK’s second largest half-marathon event each year. A new city-centre start line and route was revealed earlier this year, including both old and new landmark favourites and the welcome return of Cannon Hill Park at the nine-mile mark. Cheered on by thousands of supporters and hundreds of volunteers, participants will start on New Street and will pass through areas of Digbeth, Bournville and Stirchley before returning towards the city and reaching the finish line at Aston University.

Anyone who participated in the 2019 Simplyhealth Great Birmingham 10k will get £10 off the entry price – just ensure you enter using the same log in details and the discount will be automatically applied at checkout.

Entry price is £36.00 per person and participants will get an exclusive medal and t-shirt, goodie-filled finisher’s pack, a timing chip for accurate results, free training and advice, the security of closed roads and incredible on-course support.

The 2.5k Junior (9-16 years) and 1.5k mini (3-8 years) events will also take place on the same day – a great way for the whole family to get involved! Entry price for little ones is £10.00.
