January has been a hard slog. No fun, no funds and for some, no fizz! Not to worry, February will be seeing an end to that. On Friday 9th & Saturday 10th Birmingham will welcome the national ‘Prosecco Festival’ to its Town Hall. This is a must for all bubble lovers, with 40 kinds on offer to taste and enjoy! With both afternoon and evening slots you can make the most of this one-of-a kind event at your leisure.
With the popularity of Prosecco reaching dizzing heights over recent years, this festival is certain to be bustling. Tickets are selling at a £14.50 price point. This includes: a souvenir flute, live music and access to the various food and drinks stalls, housed in the city’s heart.
On arrival you will be handed a wristband and your glass, upon collection, head to one of the many token points where you are able to exchange cash or card payments for your tokens, priced at £5 each. These can be handed in at all stalls in exchange for products of their value. This process takes the stress out of handling notes and plastic, while you are likely to be otherwise engaged!
Guests will be tempted by hearty Italian delights. We’re told to expect oozing calzones, homemade meatballs and sophisticated anti-pasti boards. A swish accompaniment to the sparkling star of show and spot on, for soaking up all the booze available!
This is going to be a wild one, we are sure! An amazing way to discover new tastes and brighten up what is likely to be a chilly, Feb weekend. Gifting a ticket for the event makes for a thoughtful treat for your loved one at Valentines too! Don’t worry lads! There is plenty of bottled beer on offer if the prosecco doesn’t float your boat!
