Following three great years in Norwich, the Great British Beer Festival Winter is moving to Birmingham as part of its three-year rotation around the country.

Known as a ‘festival of a thousand trades’, GBBF Winter will celebrate the West Midlands’ industry, diversity and creativity throughout history. Taking place at the New Bingley Hall in Birmingham, the festival will bring over 400 beers to the area, accompanied by a range of ciders, spirits and non-alcoholic options that will represent the region, the wider United Kingdom, and beyond. alongside games, activities, musical entertainment tastings and talks as well as a fantastic food range from Digbeth.

Digbeth Dining Club has confirmed that it will be working with the Great British Beer Festival (GBBF) Winter this year to provide street food for the national festival’s premiere in Birmingham.

Voted Britain’s Best Street Food Event, Digbeth Dining Club has established itself as the region’s pioneer of street food, working with the best food traders across the UK. Stripping back the frills and fanciness of fine-dining, they offer an authentic, unique experience where the food does the talking.

Alongside the drinks and mouth-watering food stalls, the festival will feature games and activities, musical entertainment, a selection of tastings and talks for those looking to expand their horizons further.

As always, the Great British Beer Festival Winter will continue to host the finals of the winter beer categories in the Champion Beer of Britain Competition, with the winners going forward to this year’s final at the Great British Beer Festival in August.

David Glenwright, Creative Director for the Great British Beer Festival said:

“We’re incredibly excited to have Digbeth Dining Club onboard this year. Festival-goers can now sample some of the very best food on offer in the West Midlands as they sip some of the nation’s best brews!”
