Marathon season is soon to be upon on us with the Chocolate 5k, various Race for Life events, The Great Birmingham 10k and the London Marathon taking place across the city and beyond over the next few months. To support the city’s brave runners, Virgin Care Private’s brand new health and well-being clinic in the city is offering those getting involved in long (and short) distance runs a chance to get extra help and support from their team, for less.

While Virgin Care Private is already offering GP appointments from £55, runners with a medal, race number or email confirming their participation in a run in the last five years will be able to claim an extra 25% off their first GP appointment, physio session or well man, well woman check up at the Edmund Street clinic until the end of May.

To claim the discount, show your proof in their clinic or send a photograph when booking online.

Virgin Care Private is also encouraging those taking part to share stories of past triumphs, images of race medals and charity support across social media platforms using #ShowYourMedal, to inspire others, encourage discussion and push awareness of the charities you are all rooting for!

Virgin Care Private is Virgin’s new on demand health and well-being service and is inspired by Virgin Care’s decade of experience supporting the NHS. It is offering same-day GP appointments and specialist consultant and therapy services, including  dermatological, physiotherapy, counselling, health check-ups, aesthetics, sexual health checks and treatment, plus many more.
