Nobody puts baby in a corner!

Dirty Dancing is the seminal film of everyone’s childhood. We all watched it with our mums’ commentary throughout explaining a wide range of things including sex, love, and sibling rivalry. Well, even if you didn’t have the memorable first watching experience I did, it’s a classic film.

It’s the summer of 1963 when Baby is on holiday with her family and meets a sexy Patrick Swayze who teaches her how to dance. Through their training, they get closer and finally find themselves having… the time of their lives.

Dirty Dancing is a film for all ages telling real-life truths about love, friendship, and, most importantly, dance. Second City Bar and Lounge has a Dirty Dancing Experience on Saturday 18th May from 9.00pm until 12.00pm. This is a performance featuring all the songs from the movie sung live on stage for your entertainment. These hits include: Big Girls Don’t Cry, Hungry Eyes, She’s Like the Wind, Hey Baby, Wipeout, Do You Love Me, Time of my Life, and many more!

The show is a fully choreographed spectacular, with moves you will remember from the film! It is also interactive so you too can share in the magic of dancing and even learn a few of the iconic dance steps from the film. You may learn in a night what Baby took multiple montages in a lake to master!

It’s time to let your hair down, put on your dancing shoes, put down that watermelon, and come and join the party that is the ‘Dirty Dancing Experience’!
