It’s the most wonderful and whimsical time of year, and our friends at Touchwood certainly know how to celebrate the season in style. Plenty of surprises and festive thrills await you at Solihull’s ultimate shopping destination this Christmas.
Spectacularly, Santa has managed to find the time in his busy schedule to set up shop in his ever-so enchanting grotto, where he’ll shower gifts upon all of those deserving, well-behaved boys and girls. At least until Christmas Eve when he has to leave for that important present round!
Those dreaming of a white Christmas will also be pleased to hear that, for the first time ever, a magical Snow Pit has opened its doors in Popular Arcade for further festivities. After a visit to Father Christmas, young guests can carry on the Christmas cheer, playing in the artificial snow and throwing pretend snowballs… without the unpleasant chill!
Not only that, there is even more fun to be had at Touchwood where Christmas comes to life every year.
Giant Acrobatic Snow Globe
An acrobatic snow globe arrives to the centre on 24th November, another addition to the already vibrant, seasonal spectacles! Between 12pm through to 5pm, you’ll be left astounded as acrobats perform a series of superbly choreographed routines at intervals throughout this Saturday display. Prepare for a beautifully, breath-taking showcase of talent with a glitter-filled snow globe, adding extra sparkle. Not one to be missed!
Meet The Snowman
Let The Snowman bring you more Christmas spirit. The iconic character greets guests on 8th December. Certain to put a smile on the faces of children and adults, alike, so make sure your cameras are at the ready; capturing the magic moment the famous Raymond Briggs’ book escapes the pages and comes to life!
Launch of Touchwood Street Eats
That’s not all! Introducing ‘Touchwood Street Eats’ – an awesome new venture set in Theatre Square, where a host of street-food vendors will be serving up global cuisines! Mouth-watering goods will be offered up each Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon and each week there will be something new for guests to feast on. A warming treat when there is a chill in the air, indeed!
Twinkling lights and a Tipi tent mean this one is for the cool kids. Expect a fully stocked bar and plenty of seating, perfect for a wonderful Christmas get together or for a luxury work lunch – all kicking off from 22nd November.
