Detectives have issued a description of a man they are looking for, after a man was found unconscious with serious head injuries on Gravelly Hill in Erdington at around 2.50AM on Monday morning (06/08).
The man, in his early 50s, sustained fractures to his arm and skull, after it is believed he was struck forcefully with a blunt object. His condition is described as critical.
Detective Constable Kezia Smith, said: “The man we want to speak to was seen shouting at the victim before picking up an object and hitting him with it. He is described as black and in his 60s. He has long grey dreadlocks and was wearing dark-coloured clothing. If you saw anything or have any information, please call us on 101 giving crime reference number 20BE/178121T/18.”
