Escape from the busy crowds of the German Market and Birmingham City Centre and explore the historic neighbourhood of the Jewellery Quarter, full of unique gift ideas from lots of creative independents.
With over 80 cafes, bars and restaurants in the Jewellery Quarter, the streets and shops of this iconic area of the city are perfect for warming up over a hot drink or celebrating Christmas with family and friends!
A new addition to 2019 and available until 31st December, the Jewellery Quarter has teamed up with twenty-five local businesses to create the JQ Christmas Window Trail. From family jewellers to cake decorators, hairstylists, florists, chocolatiers, wedding shops and much more, the bespoke festive displays add a touch of magic to the visitor experience.
The Window Trail map can be downloaded from the Jewellery Quarter website here, or picked up in person at a local JQ cafe or shop. Completing the route at a leisurely pace should take approximately 1 hour.
The Jewellery Quarter also invites visitors to share their favourite Christmas Window or Christmas moment online using the hashtag #JQChristmas!
The easiest way to visit the JQ is either via a direct train to the Jewellery Quarter train station, or by hopping on the tram from New Street for only £1.
