The driver of a white BMW One Series, a man, aged 20, was taken to hospital on Wednesday evening (26/07) after a collision with Midland Metro tram on Swan Lane in West Bromwich.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: “We were called by police to Swan Lane where a car and tram were in collision.
“One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended.
“The driver of the vehicle managed to get himself out of the car. He had some head and neck pain and was immobilised and taken to Sandwell.
“The passenger from the tram had lower back pain but was discharged at the scene.”
