Due to the André Rieu concert at Arena Birmingham tonight buses will be diverting away from the arena area.

From: Thursday 13th December 16.00 – Midnight
Due to the major concert taking place the following roads will be closed to allow for a larger number of drop off and pick ups of concert goers arriving by coach, all buses will be diverted away in two closure phases from the following roads, from 4pm until midnight.
Sheepscote Street
Cambridge Street
King Edwards Road
St Vincent’s Street
Broad Street (between Five Ways and Sheepscote Street)
Between 16.00 – 18.30 the diversion route will be as follows:-
Outbound- Great Charles Street, Parade/Sandpits, Clement Street, St Vincent Street, Sheepscote Street, Broad Street then normal route.
Inbound – St Vincent Street, Summer Hill Street, Summer Hill Road, Sandpits/Parade, Great Charles Street then normal route.
Between 18.30 – Midnight the diversion route will be as follows:-
Both Directions – Great Charles Street, Parade/Sandpits. Summer Hill Road, Ladywood Middleway, Five Ways Island, Hadley Road then normal route
For passengers requiring buses leaving the city centre, please board stops in the city centre. For passengers arriving into the city please alight in the city centre.
All stops along the diversion route will be served.
