Four men have been charged after a sawn-off shotgun was recovered by police in Birmingham.
Police were called to reports of suspicious activity on Farnborough Road in Castle Vale, at around 2.30pm on Thursday (15/11).
Officers found the weapon and cartridges nearby, and seized a quantity of drugs.
Last night (16/11), Makenzie Blackburn aged 19 from Castle Vale was charged with conspiracy to possess a sawn-off shotgun and possession of a bladed article.
Jordan Kibuka aged 19 from Castle Vale and Darnell Duquesney also aged 19 from Kitts Green, were charged with conspiracy to possess a sawn-off shotgun and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
And Shebaz Khukhar aged 20 from Erdington, was charged with conspiracy to possess a sawn-off shotgun production of cannabis.
All were remanded in custody and will appear in Birmingham Magistrates Court today (17/11).
