The bar will be homed on Hill Street, where the former Chameleon Bar used to sit. Work has already begun on the venue which will open later this year. Although no official date has been confirmed, work has started and we are promised the new space will be worth the wait. Likely becoming one of the coolest places to hang out in town.
Kongs already has successful branches in Cardiff and Bristol. And if those are anything to go by, we are certainly in for a treat. Street style food in the shape of burgers and pizzas are served across the two originals, so we’re sure there will be much of the same in Birmingham.
Quality beer and spirits are a huge selling point to Kongs too. Given that we love our beer here, there unique selection will go down well! The owners are passionate about the drinks they serve which is always great to hear!
Of course, many of you will be going for the games! Other venues home ping-pong and foosball tables ready for you to challenge your pals, but the piece de resistance will be there choice of arcade classics! Expect child-hood faves, such as: Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Street-Fighter and Mortal Combat.
The big kid in us, just can not wait!
