A family from Stechford have had their home transformed thanks to Help Harry Help Others and the local community.
Emily Cassidy, aged 3, had just gone through an operation in America to remove a cancerous tumour from behind her eye.
After responding well Emily and her mum Lucy returned home on Thursday (01/09) after nine weeks to find their home had undergone a DIY renovation.
The transformation was spearheaded by Help Harry Help Others, which is run by Georgie Moseley.
Georgie, who lost her son Harry to cancer in 2011. said: “There’s lots of health issues within the family anyway, and on top of that, the three-year-old little girl has just been diagnosed with cancer. She’s constantly at hospital, her life’s been turned upside down, and they should be coming home to a tranquil place where they can just be a family.”
