Guarantee your place at Cadbury Sixth Form College

-

As young people across the region anxiously prepare to open their GCSE results this week, Cadbury Sixth Form College has made a commitment to prospective students that their places in September are secure.

Following an unprecedented summer, which saw all school and college exams cancelled and left many young people worried about their futures, the specialist sixth form has announced a commitment which guarantees that all prospective pupils will have a place on their chosen courses in September.

It means that for any student whose final grades are not as expected, there’s no need to wait for the appeal outcome before enrolling for the 2020/21 intake. With the Cadbury College September Study Commitment, your place is safe and secure.

Why choose Cadbury College?

The Kings Norton sixth form college has recently celebrated a number of student successes, with A* – B grades this summer doubling from last year’s A Level results. 2020 graduates are now preparing to start their journeys on a range of work placements and higher apprenticeships across the UK, in addition to continued studies at degree level.

Elsewhere, individual students have been able to unlock their potential with the help of excellent teaching staff and an enriching, nurturing and supportive learning environment. Most recently, Zaynab Sohawon was awarded with the esteemed Princess Diana Award – the highest accolade a young person can achieve for social action or humanitarian efforts, whilst work by Photography student Ellie-Mai Holmes-McClure was featured within a BBC News exhibition, which showcased sixth-formers’ experiences in lockdown.

Over recent months, a Covid-19-safe college plan has been implemented to ensure that students across every subject can receive a safe and fulfilling classroom learning experience when term begins again. This includes measures such as thermal scanning stations upon entry, enhanced cleaning regimes and a routed system throughout the site.

How to secure your place

If you haven’t already applied for a place at Cadbury Sixth Form College, it’s not too late – simply fill out a quick application form online and you’ll be all set to enrol once you have your GCSE results.

For anyone who wants to make a late application after Thursday 20th August, you can visit the sixth form in the following weeks and enrol on-site. If you’re unable to attend for whatever reason, simply call the college and the team will help to ensure you have a place in September.
