Emergency services were dispatched to Kingsbury Road in Castle Vale, at around 9AM this morning (07/07), to reports of a collision.
On arrival, crews discovered a collision involving a minibus and a lorry.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: “Crews arrived on scene to discover a collision between a minibus and a lorry.
“Ambulance staff assessed multiple patients from the minibus at the scene, together with the lorry driver.”
The following closures and diversions are in place:
* A38 Kingsbury Road closed between Tyburn Roundabout (A452 Chester Road) and Midpoint Park
* Diversion route via A452 Chester Road, Eachelhurst Road, Walmley Ash Road and Minworth Roundabout
* Access to Castle Vale via A452 Spitfire Roundabout (Tangmere Drive) or Park Lane
