Detective Chief Inspector Edward Foster and his team have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in Chicago’s nightclub on Stourbridge High Street.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, at around 1AM this morning (06/08), to reports of a serious incident.
A man, aged 24, was taken to hospital with a chest wound but despite the best efforts of medical staff he sadly died.
Police have cordoned off the high street between the Ring Road and Market Street whilst a scene investigation takes place.
Detective Chief Inspector Edward Foster said: “I am appealing for anyone with information, or who was present at Chicago’s on the night of Saturday 5 August to call me on 101 ext 963 3202, quoting log 149 of 6 August.”
