Police are investigating after a man was seriously injured following a disorder on Moseley Road near to the junction of Brighton Road in Balsall Heath last night (4/12).
A man in his 40s has been taken to hospital with severe head injuries after being assaulted and then pushed into oncoming traffic just after 9pm.
The victim remains in hospital in a critical condition and the area was cordoned off whilst an investigation was carried out.
CCTV is being examined and house to house enquiries are on going.
