MCM Comic Con Birmingham is back at the NEC this November and with a Cosplay Central, Special Guests, The Treehouse for Under 10’s, a live stage, gaming area and workshops, it promises to be bigger and better than ever!

Meet the people behind your favourite characters from film and TV, video games, and online personalities! This year, special guests include Anthony Daniels (C3PO – Star Wars), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings / The Goonies / Stranger Things), Bryan Dechart and Amelia Rose Blaire, and stay tuned as more guests will be added in the coming weeks.

Take a stroll down the streets of Comic Village at MCM Comic Con and find your newest indie comic favourite, and get your fingers inky as comic book artists, writers & publishers gather to share their talents and offer advice to budding artists.

Whether you are just getting started with your very first costume or are a seasoned cosplay professional, the Cosplay Central area has all the tips and tricks cosplay enthusiasts could ever need! Want to show off your cosplay skills? The Cosplay Masquerades are held on both Saturday and Sunday on the Main Stage, giving cosplayers the chance to showcase their handmade costumes and amazing performances in front of a packed audience. It is free to participate in it or to watch, and there are prizes available for Best Costume and Best Performance. However, cosplayers are welcome to take part just for fun if they do not wish to be judged.

New for 2019, MCM is excited to launch an amazing series of workshop that are designed to help fans the opportunity to create, learn and inspire, from information on starting your own comic book, game development and world-building, to creating the perfect superhero and villain duo in the next big series on screen or perfecting that cosplay outfit – MCM is now offering fans the chance to be inspired with these hands-on workshops.

The MCM Birmingham Comic Con will be held at the NEC on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November 2019. Ticket prices start at just £12.00 for general entry, with prices increasing for Priority Entry and Weekend Entry.
