Comedy classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail will have a special screening at the Electric Cinema this month, with special mead tasting opportunities for guests.
The 1975 cult classic has become one of Britains most loved films. Telling the story of King Arthur’s adventures as travels 10th Century England in search of knights to join him at the Round Table of Camelot and their subsequent search for the Holy Grail, we follow their journey as they face a rather persistent Black Knight, a group of rude Frenchmen, a killer rabbit, a three-headed giant, the shrubbery-challenged Knights of Ni, an Enchanter named Tim and the perilous Castle Anthrax.
Dating back to 9000BC, Mead will be the tipple for the evening. Presented by Samuel Boulton of The Vanguard Cocktail Bar & Meadery, guests will be given the opportunity to try different meads throughout the event, along with some interesting knowledge on the making of mead and some expert tasting notes to match.
The screening of Monty Python and the Holy Grail will take place on Sunday 17th November a 5.00pm. Tickets are limited and have already proven to be extremely popular, so get yours soon before they completely sell out!
Please be aware that Monty Python and the Holy Grail has a rating of 18.
