Independent charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information after a fatal hit-and-run collision in Washwood Heath, Birmingham which resulted in the death of a cyclist. Read the full article from West Midlands Police below:
Information on the whereabouts of 24-year-old Kashif Khan, who is wanted in connection with the collision, will also be rewarded by the charity.
Andell Goulbourne, aged 59, was struck with significant force by a grey BMW M135i car as he cycled along Washwood Heath Road on Thursday 30 July 2020 at approximately 11.10pm. He was travelling in the opposite direction to the BMW and was hit as he went to turn right.
CCTV shows the four occupants in the leased car fled as Mr Goulbourne was left fatally injured on the road. He was declared dead at the scene.
Three men have already been interviewed about the incident. Kashif Khan, however, is still at large.
We have now released CCTV footage of the collision to urge people to come forward with information.
