Actor and Documentary maker Ross Kemp, who is currently filming a documentary about violent crime in the UK, was seen with armed officers at McDonalds in Northfield on Thursday (30/11).
Police, Mr Kemp and film crew arrived at the restaurant on Bristol Road at around 4:30PM, to reports of a man with a knife.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police, said: “Police were called to McDonalds on the Bristol Road to reports of a man with a knife outside the restaurant. Officers attended and carried out an area search to try and trace the suspect. Nobody was injured.
