The Sandwell & Birmingham Mela which was due to take place on 18 – 19 July will no longer be taking place this year. This decision has not been taken lightly and the organisers have tried their hardest to make it work, but it was unavoidable given the current status.
The team were all excited to welcome everyone to the Mela and celebrate their 10th birthday together.
The safety of the audience, artists, volunteers, workers and partners is paramount and the organisers appreciate the patience of the attendees whilst they’ve been working through this unprecedented situation.
The new date has been announced as the 17 – 18 July 2021 in Victoria Park, Smethwick – save the date!
